At the April 24, 2008 EDAWN (Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada) Annual Luncheon, Greater Nevada was honored with 2nd Place in the Large Company category in the first annual "Greater Reno-Tahoe Best Places to Work" Awards.

The "Best Places to Work" award is special to us because it is determined exclusively by rankings our employees submitted in a satisfaction survey measuring criteria of a satisfying workplace such as: trust, feeling valued, team effectiveness, and manager effectiveness.

Among the top three award winners in the Large Company category, Greater Nevada was the only local company honored with the Best Place to Work title (Microsoft Licensing, GP - 1st Place, Intuit Inc. - 3rd Place). Greater Nevada was a finalist among a group of companies known for being outstanding employers - Charles River Laboratories, PCS Nevada; EBARA International Corporation; EMPLOYERS; Granite Construction; Harrah's/Harveys & Bill's at Lake Tahoe; Patagonia; and REMSA.
